I worked for a firm of Chartered Surveyors for some 15 years. During that time, I gained a Diploma in Surveying (Practice) and had extensive experience as an Assistant Surveyor with residential, commercial, and institutional properties. I was involved with Property Management and building projects for which the production of drawings on AutoCAD was an essential part. I worked for commercial and private clients, including several Charities, a large independent school, and small property companies.

Due to a few health issues, I left the firm, and then later in November 2019, I started planning to set up my business HJEG CAD Services, offering freelance CAD Services, making use of my extensive experience since 2003 of experience. The company was launched on the 6th January 2020.

Since 2020, the firm has built up a great relationship with our clients, and now our firm is well-recommended.

The company made plans during the Autumn of 2025 to launch our trading name to hg ad Architecture Design from 1 January 2026.

​We act directly for/with private clients and for Surveyors, Architects, Hotels, Property Management firms, Estate Agents, Building Contractors, Landscapers, County Councils, Schools, and Consultants, including clients using commercial properties. We can operate under their direction remotely or in their offices as requested.
